Ms. Janette Mason
Ms. Lesly Fuentes
Lesly Fuentes is a FLES teacher at Randolph. She started at Randolph this year. Before Randolph she was a Library Media Assistant and a Special Education Administrative Assistant at Claremont Immersion. Lesly Fuentes also worked as a Bilingual Family Resource Liaison at Carlin Springs Elementary. She attended George Mason University where she studied Early Childhood and Special Education. In her free time she likes to cook and to travel. When she is not doing that, she enjoys reading a book and watching movies.
In the FLES program, we develop functional skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish. We use a variety of learning activities including conversational practice, songs, games, read-alouds, and group and independent projects to support students in their language development in all four language domains. During the school year, students acquire the skills to express themselves on many topics, such as greetings, self-introductions, seasons, weather, colors, clothing, animals, communities, and many other topics.
