Kathleen Donnelly, PreK Teacher

Ms. Katie Donnelly is a Pre-K teacher at Randolph Elementary. She started at Randolph in 2006. Before coming to APS, she taught in Baldwinsville, NY teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten for four years. At Randolph, Katie taught Kindergarten for five years before teaching Pre-K. She received her bachelor’s degree from The State University of New York at Oswego. She enjoys running, traveling, music, and spending time with her 2 daughters, family, and friends.

Jazmyn Beckford, PreK Self-Contained Teacher

Jazmyn Beckford is a Special Educator at Randolph Elementary. This will be her first year at Randolph. Ms. Beckford is an Arlington native. Before Randolph, she was a Special Education assistant at Patrick Henry Elementary, in Arlington. Currently, she is working on her Master’s in Special Education from the University of Virginia. She attended Florida State for undergrad, studying Mathematics. Crafting, traveling, and eating good food are among her favorite things to do.

Flynn Thompson, GenEd PreK Teacher

Flynn Thompson is in her first year as a lead teacher at Randolph. She graduated from George Mason in 2025 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is passionate about learning through play and having a fun and inclusive classroom. Outside of teaching Ms. Flynn enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and reading.

Mariel Stein, SpEd PreK Teacher

Mariel Stein is in her second year at Randolph as the PreK special education teacher and her 11th year of teaching. She holds a B.A. in psychology and policy studies, an M.A. in leadership in teaching with a specialization in special education, and an M.A. in forensic psychology. Mariel began her teaching career with Teach For America as a self-contained elementary and secondary special education teacher in Baltimore. From there, she went on to teach preschool in New Jersey. In her free time, Mariel enjoys reading suspense novels, going hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
