Build a Snowman

Winter Reading Challenge: January/February

Snowman2

For our Winter Reading Challenge, Randolph students are being challenged to build a life size snowman out of cotton balls.  Students in grades K-2 will record the number of books read each night on a weekly tally sheet.  Students in grades 3-5 will record the number of minutes read each night.  For every book (grade k-2) and every 10 minutes of reading (grades 3-5) students will earn a cotton ball to build the snowman.  Tally sheets will be sent home in Friday folders and returned for collection on Friday mornings.  Teachers will be responsible for copying and distributing the tally sheets each Friday and collecting the completed tally sheets.  Tally sheets should be turned into Carlin Schwartz’s box by Friday afternoon each week.  This challenge will run from January 13th, 2017 to February 28th, 2017.

Please see a member of the reading team with any questions.

The snowman will be located outside of the library for all to see!
